Early Morning

3D painting created in Photoshop and Octane. This one is inspired by an old painting called "Early morning" by Alexandre-Louis Jacob (1876–1972). Jacob was a French artist best known for his moody landscapes, often featuring bodies of water and a soft painting style.

UBIK inspired short film

This is a personal project inspired by the 1969 science fiction novel Ubik, written by Philip K. Dick. It contains mandelbulb fractals rendered in Octane matched with a monologue from the book.

A Maze of Death

A tribute to Philip K. Dick's 1970 novel, A Maze of Death. The narration is drawn from the book, with subtle alterations. It's an experimental and surreal short in the spirit of the original novel.

2019 Showreel

A selection of renders done in Octane Standalone on a GTX 1060 card. The houses are modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. (Except the one at 46 seconds where I’ve used a base model from Turbosquid).

The mountains are heightmaps from World Creator, and the plants and people are assets from libraries like Speedtree, CG Axis and AXYZ. I have modified the materials on most of these, adding properties like specularity and translucency.
